A caller at a residence located at 16800 SE Blanton St. contacted 911 this morning (Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014) to report that the caller's car had been stolen. The caller had seen the car driving away from the caller's house.

Deputies started searching the area for the car, and found it about 20 minutes later at 7:05 a.m. They then began following the stolen car.

Deputies followed the car as it pulled into an apartment complex at 2800 SE Lake Rd. The car had two occupants -- one male and one female.

The male suspect driver then ran from the car. The female suspect stayed in the car and was taken into custody without incident.

The arrested female suspect was identified as Jaime Susan Parker, 37 years old, of Milwaukie.

Sheriff's Office deputies and Milwaukie Police officers set up containment around the stolen vehicle and used K9s to search for the male suspect. They searched the area for over an hour, but were unable to locate the male suspect.

The male suspect was described as a white male in his 30s wearing a red shirt and blue shorts. Witnesses in the area reported seeing a male matching that description running through yards, but the suspect had reportedly removed the red shirt and was wearing a white tank top.

Deputies and officers are working with Jaime Parker and other evidence to identify the male. Jaime Parker was transported to the Clackamas County Jail.

The stolen car was drivable, and the owner was able to come to the scene and take the vehicle home.
