EARLIER: SEPT. 12, 2014, 1:09 p.m.
On 9-11-14 at about 10:15 p.m. 2 suspects robbed the residents of a home in the 3900 block of SE Aldercrest in unincorporated Milwaukie.
The home invasion robbery occurred when the first suspect, a white female, came to the door asking for assistance.
When one of the home's occupants opened the door, the woman brandished a gun, and a white male accomplice assisted her in forcing their way into the residence. During a struggle with the homeowner (who had armed himself with a firearm), at least two shots were fired.
The victim was physically assaulted, and the suspects reportedly left in his truck after robbing him.
The stolen truck was recovered several hours later near River Rd. and SE Laurie Ave in Milwaukie. The victim's vehicle is a 2014 Dodge crew cab diesel pickup, gray in color.
During the course of the robbery the homeowner was injured and was treated by rescue personnel.
The suspects are described as:
- White female adult, 70" tall, brown hair, black leather jacket
- White male adult, 68" tall, red bandana across face, white t-shirt
Detectives are asking for leads from the public.
