At about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, deputies with the Wilsonville Police Department responded to an alarm at Boones Ferry Primary School, located at 11495 SW Wilsonville Road.
The alarm company (which monitors sounds within the school) had reported the activation of the alarm system as well as hearing voices inside the school building.
Arriving deputies located four juvenile suspects exiting the school. The juveniles ran, but all four were apprehended after a foot chase.
A subsequent investigation revealed that one of the suspects had allegedly climbed onto the roof of the school and made entry into the school and then let the remaining suspects into the school.
The suspects the allegedly stole property from the school, and were found in possession of that property when they were apprehended.
The juveniles -- three of whom are 14 years of age, and one 13 years of age -- all live in the area. They were taken to the Clackamas County Juvenile Reception Center and turned over to the custody of the Clackamas County Juvenile Department, each charged with Burglary in the Second Degree.
Facilities personnel from the West Linn - Wilsonville School District responded and secured the building.
Three Clackamas County cities -- Damascus, Happy Valley, and Wilsonville -- contract with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office to provide municipal police services.
