Deputies assigned to the Wilsonville Police Department have been receiving reports of thefts for several weeks and developed images of the suspect when he used stolen credit cards at a nearby Fred Meyer.

Deputies were unable to identify the suspect until it was discovered that the person had purchased a membership to LA Fitness using a stolen credit card. That lead allowed deputies to arrest the suspect this morning while in the LA Fitness.

Mr. Turner was lodged on the two Multnomah County warrants. Deputies are coordinating with Albany Police and Vancouver Police to complete their investigation and submit their investigation to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office.

Three Clackamas County cities -- Damascus, Happy Valley, and Wilsonville -- contract with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office to provide municipal police services.
