Clackamas County offers free class (starting Feb. 23) for women impacted by domestic violence

Women's Empowerment Project logoIf you have experienced abuse by a current or former intimate partner, the free Women's Empowerment Project (WEP) class series can help you break the cycle.

Sponsored by Clackamas County Community Corrections, WEP is specifically designed for women wanting to create healthy, violence-free lives. The 14-week class is free.

Topics include: the cycle of violence, coping mechanisms, effects of abuse on children, safety planning, and more.

The first free class begins on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
