Crash-scene photo At approximately 6:08 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a traffic crash on S. Redland Rd. near S. Lyons Rd. in Clackamas County.

Initial reports were that two vehicles had crashed head-on and there were multiple injuries.

Madison Kealoha West --18, of Oregon City -- was extracted from one of the vehicles, a Saturn coupe, and transported to the Hospital. She later died at the hospital.

The second vehicle, a Hummer H3, had two occupants. The male driver -- Steven Mark Naylor, 58, of Oregon City -- was transported to the hospital and then released. A 7-year-old boy was the passenger; the boy was taken by Life Flight to the hospital and at this writing is still listed critical condition. The 7-year-old was reportedly unrestrained in the vehicle. Due to his age, his name will not be released.

The Clackamas County Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic Team (CRAFT) assisted with the crash investigation. Initial investigations show the Saturn veered into the oncoming lane.
