EARLIER (Saturday, March 5, 2016, 2:01 a.m.)

Crash-scene photoAt approximately 7:17 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a reported traffic crash near the 32000 block of S Palmer Rd., just outside the City of Molalla.

The 911 caller told dispatchers that the involved 2005 Honda Accord was occupied by two males who appeared to be badly injured.

A Molalla Police officer and medical personnel from Molalla Fire quickly arrived at the scene, and found both occupants of the vehicle to be deceased.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic Team (CRAFT) responded to the scene and collected evidence for the next several hours.

Both deceased males have been positively identified, but their identities are being withheld until all of the family notifications have been completed.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but it is believed that alcohol was not a factor.
