Booking photo: Jonathan Joseph Snyders, age 39On Tuesday, July 19, 2016, several citizens called the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office about a concerning post they saw on Craigslist.

The post featured a photo of a rifle pointed at a window. This image was accompanied by text that threatened a Clackamas County Circuit Court Judge and Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies.

A screencap of the post (with profanity redacted) is attached. The text reads: "Your a crooked [expletive] [expletive] trying to take a guys home security away judge.... I got a little something in mind for you and your crooked blueeye Clackamas County sheriff's." [sic]

Investigators were able to determine that the person responsible for this threat was Jonathan Joseph Snyders, age 39. Investigators also learned the threatened judge had recently signed a stalking order against Mr. Snyders.

Mr. Snyders was taken into custody by Patrol deputies at his residence in the 44000 block of SE Keisecker Road, outside of Sandy.

A search warrant was served on Mr. Snyders' home -- and the firearm brandished in the photo was seized.

Mr. Snyders was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on charges of Harassment, Stalking and Violation of a court stalking/protection order. His bail was set at $250,000. His complete booking info is here. A booking photo is linked above.
