UPDATE (Sunday, Oct. 23): Dean Boettcher arrested in Oklahoma; homicide investigation continues
At about 10 p.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, Oct. 22, Dean Boettcher was arrested by officers from the Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Police Department with assistance from surrounding agencies. He has now been lodged at the Garvin County, Oklahoma Jail as a fugitive on the Oregon murder warrant issued last week.
Mr. Boettcher's car has been recovered by Oklahoma authorities, and is being held as evidence.
Detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit (HVCU) are on their way to Oklahoma this morning (Sunday, Oct. 23) to continue the investigation.

Detectives continue to investigate the Tuesday, October 18, 2016 homicide on SE Oatfield.
The victim is identified as Matthew Nelson Timmons, age 50.
Mr. Timmons lived at the home where the murder occurred.
Mr. Timmons died of multiple stab wounds.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Dean Christian Boettcher, age 51, for the crime of Murder.
Mr. Boettcher also lived at the same address on Oatfield Road, but his current whereabouts are unknown. He was last believed to be driving a 2010 off-white Mini Cooper with Oregon license 399HJL. Sample photos of the type of vehicle are linked above.
Mr. Boettcher is still considered to be armed and dangerous. If anyone sees Mr. Boettcher or his vehicle, they are asked to contact 911 immediately and not approach him.
A person previously mentioned as being associated with this case, Paula Rothery, has been contacted and interviewed. She is a witness in this matter and is not a suspect.

Paula Rothery -- one of two persons being sought in this investigation -- has been located, and is no longer of interest.
Detectives are still looking for any information on the location of Dean Boettcher.

Mr. Boettcher is associated with a cream-colored 2010 Mini Cooper with a black top, Oregon license plate 399HJL.

EARLIER (Oct. 19, 9:54 a.m.) -- ROAD CLOSURE EXTENDED
Investigators now plan to extend the closure of SE Oatfield Rd between SE Jennings and SE McNary until at least 3 p.m. while they continue to process the scene. The public is asked to avoid the area.
EARLIER (Wednesday, October 19, 2016, 7:51 a.m.)
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 17000 block of SE Oatfield Rd. on a report of a disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased male inside the residence.
Through their investigation, Investigators determined that the victim died of homicidal violence.
TWO SOUGHT; CALL 911 IF SEEN
Investigators are currently searching for Dean C. Boettcher, a 51-year-old male from Milwaukie, and consider him a person of interest. Mr. Boettcher is considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators are also searching for Paula Rothery, a 44-year-old female. Ms. Rothery was last seen in the presence of Mr. Boettcher.
Mr. Boettcher is associated with a 2010 Mini Cooper bearing Oregon License 399HJL. If anyone sees Mr. Boettcher, his vehicle, or Ms. Rothery, they are asked to call 911 immediately and do not approach either of them.
