EARLIER (Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, 12:58 p.m.)
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is seeking tips from the public as it looks for two missing/endangered children believed to be in the custody of a wanted subject.
On Dec. 14, 2016, Shyann Scott (age 4) and Zander Scott (age 4 weeks) were placed into temporary Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) custody after a court hearing in Clackamas County. However, the parents of the children -- Derrick Scott, 25, and Meghan Wilson, 30 -- have not turned them over to DHS, and reportedly fled the location they were supposed to be staying at in Clackamas County.
Meghan Wilson currently has a felony warrant for absconding on a meth-possession charge, and there are Warrants for Custody issued by Clackamas County Circuit Court for the two children.
Photos of Meghan Wilson, Derrick Scott, and Shyann Scott are attached to this release.
Investigators believe Derrick Scott and Meghan Wilson may be staying at an unknown location in the Rockwood area, and possibly driving a red unknown make pickup truck with a white canopy and unknown WA license plates.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Meghan Wilson, Derrick Scott, and/or Shyann and Zander Scott is urged to call the Sheriff's Office Non-Emergency Line at 503-655-8211. Tips can also be sent using the Sheriff's Office Tip Line -- by phone at 503-723-4949 or by using the online email form. Please reference CCSO Case #16-34713.
