Please reference CCSO Case # 17-6843

At approximately 10:35 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office received a phone call from an official at Alder Creek Middle School in unincorporated Clackamas County.

The school official reported that one of the teachers was behaving strangely -- repeatedly traveling back and forth between the school and her vehicle in the parking lot.

The school official also reported seeing what was believed to be drug paraphernalia in the teacher's vehicle.

Clackamas County deputies responded and made contact with school officials, who pointed out Special Education teacher Brynne Marie Fletcher, 33, of Portland.

Deputies contacted Ms. Fletcher. After an investigation, Ms. Fletcher was arrested on the following charges:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance -- Heroin
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance -- Methamphetamine

She was then transported to the Clackamas County Jail.

Her complete booking info is here.

North Clackamas School District officials indicate that Ms. Fletcher has been employed at the school since August 2014. Prior to this incident, Ms. Fletcher had turned in a letter indicating that she was resigning at the end of the 2016-17 school year.

The district will place Ms. Fletcher on administrative leave following this incident.

Attached is a booking photo of Ms. Fletcher, as well as photos of drugs found in her possession.
