UPDATE (Monday, Oct. 9, 12:15 p.m.) -- SUBJECT FOUND SAFE

Portland Police officers have located Shirley Darlow safe at SE 24th and Powell. Thanks to all who contributed to the search.

Shirley DarlowThe Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has activated a search-and-rescue operation to locate Shirley Darlow. The 64-year-old left her Clackamas residence around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8 and hasn't been seen since.

Shirley suffers from dementia. She was last seen in the 15000 block of SE 90th Ave. in Clackamas. She was last seen wearing a blue Adidas sweatshirt, blue jeans and slip-on shoes. She stands 5 feet tall and weighs 100 lbs.

Two photos of Shirley Darlow and an informational search bulletin are attached. Searchers urge the public -- especially those living in the area of 90th and Jannsen in Clackamas -- to check outbuildings, sheds, pools, covered boats, vehicles and other areas on their property.

The search command post is located at the Sheriff's Office Public Safety Training Center (12700 SE 82nd Ave., Clackamas, OR 97015). The Sheriff's Office search partners in this SAR operation include Pacific Northwest Search & Rescue, Mountain Wave Emergency Communications, and NORSAR
