Sheriff's Office investigates shooting in SE Concord area; 17-year-old injured; tips sought

At about 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 3710 SE Concord Rd. in unincorporated Clackamas County.

Deputies arrived and secured the area, and found an injured 17-year-old male.

Deputies provided emergency medical care to the male until Clackamas Fire District #1 and American Medical Response personnel arrived and subsequently transported the male to a local area hospital.

The 17-year-old's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Sheriff's Office detectives are actively working to identify and contact witnesses while crime scene investigators process the scene for evidence.

There is only one victim, and investigators do not believe there is any ongoing danger to the public.
