The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible DUII injury crash that occurred following a domestic disturbance at a nearby location.
The incidents occurred on U.S. Forrest Service land off S. Hillockburn Road east of Highway 211 near Estacada.
At approximately 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance on Goat Mountain.
The domestic dispute reportedly occurred between two brothers. The victim was reportedly injured by a knife.
The victim was transported from the location to meet medical first responders for treatment. He was subsequently transported by Life Flight to an area hospital.
While responding to the location, deputies were then notified of a possible DUII crash involving the suspect from the domestic dispute, who was driving a separate vehicle.
Deputies arrived at the crash scene. They found the male suspect at the vehicle. He was injured, and was also transported via Life Flight to an area hospital.
American Medical Response and Clackamas Fire District #1 personnel responded to provide initial medical treatment and transported both patients to the Life Flight landing area.
At this writing (Saturday, December 2, 2017, 11:39 p.m.), deputies are conducting an investigation, securing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses. We will not release names or additional details at this this time, during an ongoing investigation.
