Sheriff's Office seeks public's help to ID suspect in $25k cashier's check fraud, identity theft

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office needs your help to ID a suspect accused of identity theft and fraud late last year at a Milwaukie U.S. Bank. High-quality surveillance photos of the suspect are linked above.

At approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, an African-American male in his mid-20s to mid-30s presented falsified ID with a stolen name at the US Bank located at 14840 SE Webster Rd. in Milwaukie.

The suspect was able to obtain five cashier's checks worth $5,000 each.

Fortunately, the Sheriff's Office has secured excellent surveillance photos of the suspect. These images are attached. Detectives are now seeking the public's help to identify this fraud and identity-theft suspect before he strikes again.
