On Friday, August 11, 2023, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the Happy Valley area. Deputies determined that a man driving a Toyota Camry was driving northbound on SE Foster Road near SE Hemrich Road when he hit a man walking in the roadway. The driver told deputies he pulled over, unsure of what he had hit, and called 9-1-1.
The victim has been identified as Braden Josiah Lungren, age 20, of Portland.
Clackamas County’s inter-agency Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic Technicians (CRAFT) team is assisting in the investigation.
