UPDATE (April 4, 2024): Victim found deceased at fire identified, detectives investigating homicide

Family notifications are now complete, and the victim found deceased at a fire on SE Flavel Drive in unincorporated Clackamas County on March 21, 2024, can now be identified as 31-year-old Kaley Ann Snow, who resided at the address.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office ruled Snow’s death a homicide.

The investigation is ongoing and the Sheriff’s Office is actively following up on several leads. Detectives are looking to speak with anyone who may have information that may be helpful for investigators.

EARLIER (March 22, 2024): Sheriff's Office seeks tips after victim found deceased at fire on SE Flavel Drive

At around 1:30 a.m. on March 21, 2024, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a suspicious death at the site of a fire in unincorporated Clackamas County.

Minutes earlier, fire crews from Clackamas Fire District #1 responded to a fire in the 8000 block of SE Flavel Drive. While extinguishing the fire, crews discovered a deceased individual at the scene and contacted the Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's Office detectives, Crime Scene Investigators (CSI), an arson investigator with the Oregon State Police, fire investigators with Clackamas Fire, and the Clackamas County Medical Examiner’s Office responded and are assisting with the investigation.

Investigators are currently working to identify the victim.

CCSO detectives are asking the public for tips as they continue to investigate.
