Surveillance video of suspects (.mp4 format)

On Friday, June 9, 2023, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an early morning burglary at a property in the 15000 block of S. Buckner Creek Road, near Mulino. While responding to the location at approximately 6:15 a.m., deputies were advised that two men dressed in hooded sweatshirts were breaking into one of the buildings on the property.

A neighbor arrived on the property before deputies arrived and attempted to block the suspects’ vehicles, but one of the suspects rammed the neighbor’s vehicle with a white Ford Econoline van before backing down the driveway, damaging a trailer it was pulling. The other suspect, driving a blue Ford Expedition, also pointed a handgun at the neighbor who was blocking their way out, so they left the area on foot.

Several units from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office responded to locate the two suspects, including K9 units, drones, and the CCSO Air Support Unit. Deputies searched the property and surrounding area for several hours, but were unable to locate them.

The suspects left their two vehicles behind. The van turned out to be stolen out of Clark County, Washington. Both vehicles were seized for evidence.

The owner of the shops said the suspects caused damage to his property and attempted to steal several items as seen in surveillance video captured during the incident.
