Clackamas County Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking tips after the location of skeletal human remains on May 4 near SE Causey Avenue and SE Fuller Road in unincorporated Clackamas County.

Just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, deputies responded to Clackamas Fire District #1's Fuller Road Station in Happy Valley. A person had gone there to report finding a partial human skull nearby. Firefighters called the Sheriff's Office to assist.

Detectives soon responded to the scene. The person led them to the location of the remains -- a wetland area near SE Causey Avenue and SE Fuller Road.

Responding detectives found additional skeletal remains in the area and secured the scene, contacting the Clackamas County Deputy Medical Examiner and CSI forensic experts to assist in the recovery and examination of the remains.

At this writing, following initial forensic analysis by Oregon State Forensic Anthropologist Dr. Nici Vance, authorities believe the skeletal remains are somewhere between 8 months and over 2 years old. The remains are believed to belong to a white male who stood between 5'6" and 6'1" in height. He is believed to have been 45-65 years old at time of death, and appears to have had very poor dental hygiene. The male may have been a transient, based on items found around the remains. Cause of death has not been determined at this writing; experts found no signs of homicidal violence or foul play with the remains.

A black t-shirt found with the remains has a distinctive logo featuring the words "Monster Army Momentum." A photo of the shirt logo is attached.

TIPS SOUGHT
