New process for building code revisions/deferred submittals
Starting 11/25/2025 any revisions or deferred submittals for permits created on or after 9/1/2021 will be required to be submitted through the Development Direct portal. You can access the revision section of the portal here. This submittal process will be similar to the process used to submit the original review, but will generally be reviewed more rapidly. Once submitted, watch for additional tasks that will be sent to you in the system, including corrections, payments, etc. For permits originally submitted before 9/1/2021, please reach out to the plans examiner who did the review or permit staff for steps to submit those plans. Use Development Direct to apply for...
- All Development Engineering permits, including:
- Development Permits
- Entrance Permits (Driveway)
- Right of Way Permits
- Utility Permits
- All Building, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical permits that require a plan review
- Licensed contractor Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical permits that do not require a plan review
- All Septic projects (except operation and maintenance reports)

- Basic Homeowner Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical permits on your own residence or home-based business that do not require plan review
- Planning/Land Use permits

Inspections
Schedule an inspection for Monday through Friday. All requests must be received before 6 a.m. on the day of the inspection.
