MEETING MINUTES

Open Meeting @ 10:38am

            ~Welcome, full quorum determined

Secretary’s Report (in absentia)

~Minutes from last meetings on 1/18/25, 5/16/25 and 3/26/26, ~No comments, additions or changes to minutes.  Steve Graper motioned to accept the minutes as written.  M. Novinger seconded. Motion passed.

2026 Board Voting as a group: 

~ An unanimous consent ballot was presented, ballot unanimously passed. 

Members returning are Steve Graeper, Scott King, Jan Ostrom, Lindsay Costanich and Thia Allen

New Business

  1. Bear Wise – Flyers were passed out; short discussion held regarding flyers
  2. Short Term Rental Updates – discussion held regarding the newly formed oversight group and the county code that was written, this information is available on the Clackamas County 
    Website.
  3. Firewise Program – work in progress, Marion Rd in Rhododendron is currently working on packet
  4. HECN Radio Program – Program has been in place for over a year, well accepted, 80+ members in the network. Practice sessions occur every Monday at 6pm. Short discussion on use, how it works and potential legislative requirement changes.
  5. Clackamas County Disaster Management – Great Escape Event – review and updates regarding what occurred during the time at the Sandy High School, the multiple simultaneous scenarios running; feed back from that will be forthcoming after they review the results.
