~Scott Kline, (Hoodland Fire Dept. (HFD)) offered clarification of what the Land Use Application was: predominately used in new buildings, sub-division of land use with changes in zoning IE: timber to residential. The public within .5 miles and the CPO, along with the HFD are notified by mail and usually have 15 days to respond.

Guest Speaker: Walt Mayberry presented the Mt Hood Corridor Wildfire Partnership (was attached
in the Save the Date meeting invite.
Guest Speaker: Melinda McCrossen presented Tim Rim’s quest at becoming a FireWise Community,
she has offered 1:1 assistance with Rhododendron residents completing the process.
Guest Speaker: Logan Hancock (Ant Farm) He presented a thorough review of Ant Farms free services for those completing the Firewise application. Contact Logan if interested in completing the survey for the free assessment at: loganh@antfarmyouthservices.com
Hwy 26 Refinement Plan for Rhododendron – Mike Miskowicz to follow up with Sandra Hikari, Project Manager for ODOT. He will report back via blast email and/or next meeting
