A Juneteenth celebration will be held on Saturday, June 15 from 11 to 3 p.m. at Ball-Michel Park. This community-led gathering is an opportunity to celebrate, reflect and amplify Black voices in the city. The event will include music, vendors, food, face painting, kids games, and more!

Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day, Jubilee Day, and Freedom Day, is the oldest nationally-celebrated holiday, honoring the freedom of enslaved people in the United States.

Community members are invited and welcome to attend the event. Parking in the area is limited, so please carpool or use other transportation options if possible.

Clackamas County Clerk and Elections will be there to table with a voter education and civic engagement booth.
