Community Meeting: December 2025 Flood Response & Recovery
Clackamas County and Canby Fire will host a two-hour community meeting in Canby to discuss the impacts of the December 2025 storms and flooding event. This is the first meeting in a series held in affected communities across Clackamas County.
Officials from the Clackamas County Office of Disaster Management and Canby Fire will provide an overview of the emergency response efforts that took place following the storm, including coordination between local, state, and federal partners. The event will also focus on hearing directly from community members about their experiences, concerns, and ideas for improving emergency response and recovery efforts in the future.
“The county, along with local, state, and federal partners, will discuss their coordination and response for the storm, but mostly we want to hear from the community about their experiences and concerns to help us improve our service in the future,” -Clackamas County’s Daniel Nibouar.
Community members attending the event will also learn about flooding-related resources and assistance available to residents.
Additional event details, including date, time, and location information, will be shared soon.
