Prioritizing transportation projects in June for the next 20 years
Thanks to so many people for participating in the Transportation System Plan (TSP) update in January. Since then, our project team has been reviewing the numerous comments and problem spots you noted on our road network.
Community feedback contributed to more than 400 projects identified to improve safety, reduce congestion or make travel easier to get to places that matter to you. We expect to have $633 million over the next 20 years to build many of these projects. However, the needs we heard from the community far exceed what we’ll be able to afford, and we need community’s help again to identify what projects to prioritize
In June we will have a draft list of projects located in areas outside cities to share with community members. We will ask you to share your thoughts and help us prioritize those transportation projects for the next two decades.

The 2045 TSP Update revisits this plan and helps us to consider the transportation changes that might be possible by 2045. This process involves a broad range of public involvement efforts including this event.
