Frank Nifon arraigned in Clackamas County Circuit Court for Oct. 12, 2022 double homicide

Warrant outstanding for second suspect

Frank Nifon has been indicted by a Clackamas County Grand Jury for Murder in the First Degree in connection to the double homicide of 42-year-old Stanafurd Blacknall and 32-year-old Jamahl Nash on Oct. 12, 2022. Nifon was originally arrested on Oct. 31, 2022 in Cowlitz County, Washington and extradited to Oregon. He was arraigned before Judge Katherine Weber on Nov. 17, 2022 and a no-bail hold was imposed by the court.

Additionally, there is an outstanding arrest warrant for Kaythan Tenry in connection to these homicides. Tenry was taken into custody in Washington after a pursuit by law enforcement that culminated in an officer-involved shooting near Tenino. Once any charges are resolved in Washington, Tenry is expected to be extradited to Clackamas County.
