The Oak Lodge Library at 16201 SE McLoughlin Blvd. will permanently close beginning Saturday, Aug. 16, to give staff time to move into the new library building at 3783 SE Concord Road.
During the closure:
- All holds will be suspended starting Aug. 6 (you will keep your place in line)
- The last day to pick up holds at the current location is Thursday, Aug. 14
- Book returns at Oak Lodge will not be available during the closure
- Most due dates will be automatically extended to Monday, Oct. 6 (excluding interlibrary loans)
Library users are encouraged to return materials to any other LINCC library and to contact the Gladstone Library for assistance during the transition. Staff will be available during regular hours to help in person, over the phone, or online.
The new Oak Lodge Library is scheduled to open in early October. The public is invited to join the community, county officials, and others for the Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., for the new library building, as well as a new North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District community center and park. The event will include live music, refreshments, activities for children, and the chance to explore the new library and community amenities on the Concord site.
We appreciate your patience during this exciting transition and look forward to welcoming you to your new Oak Lodge Library.
