OREGON CITY, Or. -- Clackamas County is now accepting applications for its Business Development Grant Program, offering competitive funding to trade-sector businesses seeking to grow their operations in the region. The application window is open from Sept. 4 through Oct. 13, 2025.

Approved by the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners in April 2024, the program supports projects that help expand production, invest in new technologies, or train employees. Businesses can apply for up to $100,000, and all awarded funds must be matched dollar for dollar by the applicant. A total of $650,000 is available during this funding cycle.

"Supporting our traded-sector businesses is essential to the economic vitality of Clackamas County,” said Laura Edmonds, manager of Clackamas County Office of Economic Development. “These grants are an investment not only in local employers but in the workforce, innovation, and competitiveness that drive our region forward. We’re proud to offer this program to help businesses grow and thrive here at home."

An informational webinar will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 16, 2025. Registration is required.

Applications must be submitted electronically by 5 p.m. on Oct. 13, 2025. Paper submissions will not be accepted.
