Clackamas County awards $650,000 to support local business growth

Clackamas County has awarded $650,000 in grant funding to 12 local traded-sector businesses through its Business Development Grant Program.

The competitive grants, funded by state lottery dollars, support capital and workforce development projects that help grow the local economy. Each recipient will match the grant award with its own investment, supporting projects such as facility expansion, equipment purchases, and the hiring of skilled workers in Clackamas County.

The program reflects the county’s commitment to supporting businesses that create jobs and drive economic activity beyond the region.
