Readers across Clackamas County are invited to take part in One Book, One Coast, a region-wide reading program led by the Libraries in Clackamas County.

Running from April 1 through May 31, the program connects communities across the West Coast through a shared reading experience focused on literacy, learning, and civil dialogue.
This year’s selection, They Called Us Enemy by George Takei, is a graphic memoir that recounts Takei’s childhood experience during the incarceration of Japanese Americans in World War II.
Libraries throughout Clackamas County will host book discussions, educational programs, and related events. Additional copies of the book, in both print and digital formats, will be available to encourage broad participation.
Residents can explore upcoming events and learn how to get involved by visiting the LINCC website. Whether you are a lifelong reader or just getting started, this is an opportunity to connect with your community through a shared story.
