OREGON CITY, Or. -- A sex offender currently serving a 200-year prison sentence pled guilty to additional charges Wednesday in Clackamas County Circuit Court.

Rusty Allen Pugh, 54, was convicted to one count of Sodomy in the First Degree. Additional charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

In August 2024, a 15-year-old girl disclosed to a caregiver that she had been sexually abused approximately six years earlier by a man she knew as "Uncle Rusty" who was not related to her. Multiple incidents of sexual abuse occurred in 2018 at a Milwaukie home.

The caregiver determined that Pugh was “Uncle Rusty” and learned he was serving a lengthy prison sentence after being convicted in Deschutes County in 2022 of sexually abusing children.

Pugh, formerly of La Pine, was arrested in 2019 and convicted on numerous counts of Rape in the First Degree, Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and other sex crimes. His victims were girls between the ages of five and 12 years old.

Pugh was sentenced to 300 months – or 25 years – in the Clackamas County case, which runs concurrent to his existing sentence.

Pugh’s prison release date is Aug. 26, 2219, according to the Oregon Department of Corrections.

Deputy District Attorney Josh Cutino prosecuted the case.
