Bryan Andrew Moore, 38, was arraigned Monday afternoon in Clackamas County Circuit Court on murder charges and other crimes related to an incident in Sandy, Oregon on May 31, 2026.
Moore, 38, was arraigned on three counts of Murder in the First Degree in the deaths Jenna Mary Overson, 37, Mary Beth Overson, 70, and Kobyn McClure, 16, and Attempted Aggravated Murder involving Sandy Police Department Sergeant Garrett Thornton.
Moore also is charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm and two counts of Kidnapping in the First Degree.
Moore is being held without bail at the Clackamas County jail. His next court appearance is at 2 p.m. June 8.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the criminal investigation in this case.
During a confrontation with Moore, law enforcement offices exchanged gunfire with him. The officer-involved shooting is being investigated by the Clackamas Interagency Major Crimes Team, a multi-jurisdictional task force that investigates major, critical, and officer-involved incidents.
