Everyone benefits from having access to reliable information and practical tools. The Sunrise Community Coalition is partnering with the Community Alliance of Tenants (CAT) and Financial Beginnings (FB) to offer two free workshop series designed to help Sunrise Corridor residents build confidence, learn new skills and connect with community resources.

Supporting the Sunrise Corridor Vision Plan
These workshops are one of many community-led initiatives supporting implementation of the Sunrise Corridor Vision Plan. By connecting residents with practical information, resources and opportunities, the Sunrise Community Coalition is helping build a stronger housing foundation, stronger financial future and stronger community.

Tenant Education Workshops
Build confidence. Understand the rental process.
In conjunction with the Community Alliance of Tenants (CAT), residents learn to better understand leases, improve communication with landlords, and navigate common rental situations.
Topics include:
- Understanding leases
- Tenant and landlord responsibilities
- Communication strategies
- Housing resources
- Common rental questions

📅 Thursday, Oct. 1 • 6 to 8 pm: Workshop at Casa Del Sol (15229 SE 82nd Dr, Clackamas, OR 97015) offered in English
📅 Thursday, Oct. 8 • 6 to 8 pm: Workshop at Ruzzo’s Retreat (15252 OR-224 Ste. A, Damascus, OR 97089) offered for mobile home renters who may rent the unit and not the land. Offered in English
📅 Thursday, Oct. 15 • 6 to 8 pm: Workshop at Casa Del Sol (15229 SE 82nd Dr, Clackamas, OR 97015) offered in Spanish
Financial Wellness Workshops

These workshops provide practical tools and information to help residents make informed financial decisions.
In partnership with Financial Beginnings, this workshop builds practical skills in budgeting, building and maintaining good credit, managing debt, and saving.
Topics include:
- Budgeting
- How to get and maintain good credit
- Debt management
- Saving money
- Financial planning
Choose Session. Financial wellness workshops will be taught in English, with printed materials available in Spanish. Each workshop offers a different curriculum; select one or both based on your interests and availability:
📅 Tuesday, Oct. 13, 6 to 8 pm at Elmer’s Restaurant (16087 SE 82nd Dr, Clackamas, OR 97015) (Topics include creating a budget and using money management tools)
📅 Tuesday, Oct. 20, 6 to 8 pm at Shadowbrook Mobile Home Community (13640 SE Hwy 212, Clackamas, OR 97015) (Topics include fraud protection and credit)
