OREGON CITY, Or. -- A Tacoma man caught in a sex-trafficking sting was convicted by a Clackamas County jury last week of Promoting Prostitution.
Dre’shaughn Anthony Henderson, 27, will be sentenced on Nov. 24.
Henderson is also charged with assault, sex trafficking of a minor, and unlawful possession of a firearm in Pierce County, WA.
On May 2, 2026. Clackamas County law enforcement agencies conducted a human trafficking mission in Wilsonville. An officer responded to a website advertisement displaying photographs of a woman offering sexual services. Authorities believed the woman was a sex-trafficking victim and made arrangements to meet her at a Wilsonville motel.
The woman arrived in a car driven by Henderson’s brother, Andre Lashawn Bonds. Henderson was a passenger in the vehicle. After they drove away, police stopped the vehicle and arrested Bonds and Henderson. Bonds, 26, is charged with Promoting Prostitution and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. His trial date is March 9, 2027.
Police obtained a search warrant for Henderson’s phone. There, investigators found text messages between Henderson and the woman he dropped off at the motel. The texts between them referred to her prostitution dates, her updates to Henderson on her activities, and Henderson’s repeated references to himself as a pimp.
Henderson has multiple convictions in Washington for felony assaults and two convictions involving drive-by shootings.
Deputy District Attorneys Aisha Amiri and Rachel Erickson prosecuted the case.
