This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is entered into by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office (Agency) and Clackamas County (County), and the Clackamas County Peace Officers Association (Association) (collectively "the Parties").

Under close supervision, to learn, and assist in the inspection, monitoring and process control of a wastewater treatment plant; to clean and maintain wastewater plant facilities; to learn to participate as a member of a self-directed work team overseeing plant operations; and to do other work as required.

Class Characteristics

Under general supervision, to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair, adjustment and maintenance of building systems, equipment and structures; to act as lead worker for a limited number of regular, temporary, volunteer maintenance staff; to monitor and inspect the work of a variety of service contractors on assigned projects; to plan, schedule and coordinate the maintenance, repair and remodeling of specific County-owned and leased building(s)/structure(s) and its' systems and equipment; and to do other work as required.

Class Characteristics

Under direction, to oversee, plan, coordinate, schedule, monitor, inspect and contract the maintenance, repair, and remodeling of County-owned and leased building(s)/structures(s) and equipment; to lead and/or coordinate the work of facilities maintenance personnel, facilitate training and certification for facilities maintenance personnel, service contractors, temporary employees, other County employees; and to do other work as required.

Class Characteristics

Under direction, to purchase materials, supplies, equipment and services using standard purchasing and contractmethods for the County; may provide technical support to higher-level analysts or manager by gathering and processing information, conducting applicable market research in support/assembly of contracts and agreements; and to do other work as required.
