Learn basic watercolor techniques in this class and paint a landscape. In this 2-hour introductory workshop we will learn about different types of: brushes, paper, and other painting supplies. We'll do a series of exercises to warm up; all tools and materials will be provided. We'll finish class with a step-by-step painting of a simple landscape.

Iris will help you create one of a kind 3-dimensional flowers out of used business envelopes! Explore the art of design by learning about layering, shapes found in nature, balance, color, spacing and clustering. This free class is for adults only (18+). Take-home seed kits for kids appear on the 1st Sunday of each month and are available at the Gladstone and Oak Lodge Public Libraries while supplies last. Seeds and planting instructions are included. This month’s kit includes spinach, kale, beets and phacelia. Ask for yours at the desk!
