Property Tax Payment Online
Clackamas County can accept credit card, debit card, or e-check payments online. You may pay with Visa, MasterCard credit card or an e-Check. (E-checks are electronic funds deducted from your checking account using your bank routing and your bank account numbers.)
You will be charged a convenience fee by US Bank, our online payment service provider.
- Visa or MasterCard credit card - 2.49% of the payment amount.
- E-check - flat fee of $3.00.
- VISA Debit card - flat fee of $3.95.
- Mastercard Debit Card - 2.49% of the payment amount.
The online payment process is voluntary.

You will need the following items when making your online payment:
- A valid e-mail address - to receive confirmation of your payment.
- Your Clackamas County property tax account number
(located in the upper right corner of your tax statement)
- The amount of tax you choose to pay
(payment options and amounts are on your statement)
- Your credit card information or bank routing and bank account numbers located on the bottom of your check.
If you do not have your tax statement, contact the Assessment and Tax Office at 503-655-8671, Monday - Thursday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (Pacific Time) for your account number and/or the current amount due.
To make a payment, click on Continue below and follow the instructions on the next screen. If you change your mind, you can cancel at any time during the transaction. Click on submit only once to ensure there is not a duplicate payment made.
Once you have completed your transaction, look in your email inbox for your confirmation number. For a payment to be considered timely received, it must be completed before 12:00 midnight (Pacific Time) on the due date.
There is no additional fee for timely payments made directly to the Clackamas County Tax Collector by check or by cash. Make sure payments mailed to our office are postmarked on or before the due date and please do not send cash through the mail. Contact the Department of Assessment and Taxation for information on refunds.
