Flashing crosswalk improvement at Pilkington Road and Dawn St

Install a flashing crosswalk at the intersection of SW Pilkington Road and SW Dawn Street in the Rosewood neighborhood of Lake Oswego.  

Improvements will also include new safety signs, pavement markings and street lighting.

Why

To provide a safer roadway for all users by increasing visibility of intersection. 

Schedule 

• Construction: August 2026 – October 2026

Traffic impact

• Expect shoulder and lane closures with minimal delays during construction. Flaggers will direct traffic.
• Project is expected to take up to 2 months to complete.

• County seeking construction proposals

Funding

• Project estimate $193,000.00
• Funding is provided from Community Road Fund and developer contributions
