Welcome! The Alden E. Law Library of Clackamas County was established in 1927 to help provide equal access to justice for everyone.
The Law Library provides legal information, research assistance and services. Our resources are available online and in print. Law Librarians are available to assist all patrons with legal research questions.

The Law Library has a carefully balanced collection of local, state and federal books, other materials, and resources accessible in both print and through online subscriptions.

Attorney can check out materials with a call number in person for up to ten business days.

Circulation
The Law Library seeks to ensure materials in its collection are available for use on the premises. The Law Library is primarily a legal reference (non-circulating) library.
Although non-attorneys are not permitted to check out materials, they are welcome to use all of the Law Library resources and materials on site to perform legal research during regular business hours.
Forms
Library staff can assist patrons with finding sample legal documents to help them navigate the court system or to help them draft their own.

The Law Library provides a self-service photocopy/printing/scanning machine. Copies are 25 cents per copy. Cash, check or credit card is accepted for payment. Payment must be made at time of copy.
Attorney Member Billing Application - Citation Requests
Attorneys can request up to ten citations per day by telephone or email. Requests will be e-mailed or faxed within 24 hours.- OJIN/OECI Request: $1 per citation, case number or results list faxed or emailed
