Special Mention: Pat Erdenburger in attendance from Hoodland CPO. She created the Hoodland Community Disaster Network using donations.

◆ Great presentation covering the County “Go Prepared” planning.
◆ Discussed the importance of signing up for public alerts, creating defensible space around your home/property, home hardening, calling/wifi planning, taking pictures of belongings for insurance, and evacuation route/planning.
◆ A copy of the full presentation will be put onto The Hamlet’s website for community use.
➔ Karla Hoggan, Oregon Livestock Council (2 years running - evac 2020, 2022)
◆ Created after 2 evacuations (2020/2022) and seeing the need for livestock evacuation planning/assistance.
◆ Presentation covering donations, response pods, and emergency evacuation handbooks.
◆ Handbook templates to be made available to the public once completed.
➔ Diana Helm, Clackamas County Commissioner - - It was excellent to see Commissioner Helm at our meeting this evening. She gave an introduction into where she has lived, her family, her business, her political background, what drove her to the Board of County Commissioners now, and her forming vision for our county.

- Beavercreek Cooperative Telephone: Bill Merchant -- Still in a holding pattern by the Government, so BCT can begin fiber work. Discussed having a battery backup for the internet to work during a power outage, with additionals to be purchased as needed by individuals.
- Transportation: Bill Merchant - Nothing to report from meetings, but discussed tour of the underside of Abernathy bridge and work being done there.
- Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD): Joe Matteo - Joe Matteo July Invasive Weed of the Month is Tansy Ragwort. Over 80 grants & loans worth $2.5M provided to the community. There are still some loan funds available. There will be an upcoming hybrid meeting on August 21st at 6:30PM to discuss the barn on the property. More details are coming.
- Clackamas County Dog Services – Gina McMurry - - Nothing new to discuss, but we did look at the pictures of the current dogs for adoption (3 shepherds / 2 husky mix)
- The Hamlet of Beavercreek website - Gina McMurry - Asked for more input on what you want to see on our site. This is a resource for the community, by the community, so let’s make it great!
