- d. Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD): Joe Matteo (barn hybrid meeting) - Survey link scrolling across the front screen, simply click on it. You can also find details in the meeting calendar as well. PLEASE take the survey if you have opinions on the barn, this is your chance to make your voice heard.
- e. Clackamas County Dog Services – Gina McMurry - Serbie, a 2 year old pitbull mix is the Featured Dog. We discussed “Grief & Loss in Professional Settings” as it relates to H3S & Dog Services, discussed how it can relate to our lives and how we process loss in a healthy manner.
- f. Website Updates – Gina McMurry - Announced new Community Resources section, that it will be beefed out all throughout September. Please send me any contacts you’d like to see featured.
- g. Discussed Kratom in the news - Gina McMurry - “Why a drink called Feel Free, from Botanic Tonics, LLC has many saying they are trapped in addiction, debt and rehab”. This drink is sold at the Beavercreek store, 2 ounces for $8.99. 20,000 other stores sell it, so ensuring the community knows that Kratom, although legal, is not just a “harmless plant” and that people purchasing need to be of legal age and can become addicted or move into opioid use. Finally discussed the impact on those under 21 consuming Kratom.

- Oregon City Library – Claire Kellogg - Cindy Andrews is on the OC Library board and is now assigned as the CPO liaison. She’ll be attending upcoming meetings. After discussion, Cindy would like a small slot in October (she’s on vacation September), to present what services are available now to Beavercreek. That’s the launching point of - what do WE want to see/use?

- National Night Out - August 5 - Event went well. Fire & SWAT vehicles showed up towards the end of the event, so it wasn’t as well utilized as
prior years. - SummerFest Concert – August 23 - Had to postpone due to extreme heat. Still solidifying the date, towards the end of September.
- Holiday Tree Lighting – December 6 - On schedule. Tree service will come out with boom trucks to ensure all is in place and electrical working as
designed.
