Election Day is today for the November 7, 2023 Special District Election

Clackamas County Elections would like to remind all county residents that ballots for today's election, the November 7, 2023 Special District Election, must be mailed with a valid postmark or returned to an official ballot drop site before 8 p.m. tonight. 

Eighteen official ballot drop sites are open so that voters who have an election can return their voted ballot to their nearby drop site. The Milwaukie City Hall has moved a few blocks north and the official ballot drop site has moved with it to 10501 SE Main Street in Milwaukie. The Happy Valley Library is undergoing construction and the official ballot drop box will be available inside the library during open hours. The nearest 24-hour drive up official ballot site is located at the Happy Valley City Hall at 16000 SE Misty Drive in Happy Valley. Those sites marked with an asterisk have drive-up ballot drop access.

Voters who have questions or need a replacement ballot can visit Clackamas County Elections located at 1710 Red Soils Court in Oregon City, or call 503-655-8510. The office will be open until 8 p.m. 

This is not a county-wide election. Only voters that reside the cities of Gladstone, Molalla, or West Linn; the Aurora, Hoodland, or Riverdale fire districts, or the North Clackamas, Silver Falls, or West Linn-Wilsonville school districts should have received a ballot for this special election.  

The City of West Linn, Councilor and City of Gladstone, Councilor, Position 4 contests are both to complete an unexpired 4 year term of office. The elected candidates for both the City of West Linn, Councilor and City of Gladstone, Councilor, Position 4 positions will serve the remainder of 4 year terms ending on December 31, 2024. 

Unofficial results will be posted online shortly after 8 p.m. on the Clackamas County Elections website at www.clackamas.us/elections. Final results will be certified by Dec. 4. All further information can be found at www.clackamas.us/elections/nov-7-2023-special-election
