Help shape the future of the county’s transportation system
Clackamas County is updating its Transportation System Plan, and is inviting the public to weigh in on its future.
This plan is required by the state to be updated about every 10 years. For projects to be considered for funding, transportation projects must be included in prioritized lists.
People who live, work and visit Clackamas County are invited to share feedback about the goals for the transportation system and what transportation improvements are needed. This information helps the county consider the transportation changes that might be possible in areas outside cities by 2045.
Project manager Jeff Owen said, “Everyone uses our transportation system in some way to get to places that are important to us. Better understanding community needs can help us to identify and prioritize transportation projects in Clackamas County now and over the next 20 years.”
Public feedback options
People can share their transportation concerns and ideas by:
- Completing an online survey and interactive map to provide feedback on goals and to mark where transportation could work better,
- Attending one of six regional virtual meetings, or
- Emailing the project team at TSPupdate@clackamas.us.
Virtual meetings
Meetings will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Participants can expect a presentation, an explanation for how to provide feedback online, and time for questions with transportation experts. Find out more information.
- Jan. 8 - East County (Near Sandy and Estacada)
- Jan. 13 - Southwest County (Near Molalla, Canby, and Oregon City)

Participation will help shape the future of the county’s transportation system, including roads, sidewalks, bike facilities, public transit, and airports.
Interested? Sign up for a meeting reminder or learn more. Advance registration is recommended but not required. The next public feedback period will be in the spring to prioritize the needs systemwide based on the work of a technical team, project public advisory committee, and feedback from businesses and community members.

Virtual meetings will be held for all six geographic areas for the Transportation System Plan update in January 2026.
People who travel in Clackamas County are asked to support the development of the Transportation System Plan update by providing input about what they want the future of transportation to look like in the county.
