Prevent Drug Overdose Campaign Toolkit

Welcome to the Prevent Drug Overdose Campaign, a mixed-media campaign to educate and raise awareness on the dangers of fentanyl and overdose in Clackamas and Washington counties.

 Campaign goals

  • Raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl
  • Promote the availability of naloxone (brand name Narcan) as a lifesaving medicine
  • Highlight local resources to support treatment and recovery
  • Reduce stigma related to substance use disorders

Campaign Implementation

Prevent Drug Overdose has been designed for a variety of communities. We recommend organizations take the following steps to implement messaging:

  • Fill out the form below to let us know that your organization will be using the toolkit. This is important so we can track the outcomes of the campaign. 
  • Review graphics and messages in the toolkit.
  • Decide which graphics and messages align with your organization and community.
  • Post graphics and copy on Facebook, Instagram and other social media channels. Posts can be used in any order or frequency that align with your organization's specific communication strategies.
  • Connect with Clackamas County Public Health or Washington County Health and Human Services (HHS) with questions, outcomes and successes.

Please use the high-resolution image files in the toolkit. Do not modify graphics without approval from Clackamas or Washington counties.
