| Meet the Oregon Department of Education Substance Use Prevention Education Coordinator- Alanna Russell | - Alanna Russell attended to share about her new position and goals.

- The intention of this role is to help support districts, schools, students, and families with their substance use prevention efforts. This starts with helping the schools get into compliance with what the state requires. The goal is to take these requirements and make it meaningful for the schools by helping them be sustainable through funding, reducing the administrative burden, helping them be responsive to the needs of their community.

| Round Table | - Bo- HB 3917, youth prevention tax on beer, wine, and cider. Looking for youth that would be interested in going to Salem to testify. 4D is providing rides to and from Salem.
- Dave- HB 2467 for civil commitment, amendments are back and there is hearing on these amendments April 3 rd. Ask the expert April 28 th https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdX9OoguQ6_oOdFKH_z3fFNcNL5 wDU3D91M6s_b3q7cfynGXQ/viewform .
- Elise- Construction is moving forward on the stabilization center and program planning is happening with Clarvida and Fathers Heart. Opening is still planned for December 2025. The contract for the Recovery Campus awarded to Fora Health will be going to the board for approval in April. MHAAO has lifted up theirrecovery campus.
- Beto- Part of youth development for harmony, created a new group called Next Generation for family recovery.
