  • Ron gives overview of WES role in grants and how WES administers program
  • Contingency plans
  • Create a process for documenting changes that are made from initially authorized amounts
  • Funds for eligible capital expenses – based on what your finance teams say is a capital expense
  • Role of the TAT members and what they can and cannot do.
  • Kenneth asks question about how are projects approved if there are more project proposals than WES has funding for. Ron discusses how WES capital group weighs in on proposals.
  • Kenneth – Suggestion for TAT check in on funding budgets for I&I projects
  • Jessica agrees there should be a process in place for prioritizing projects if funding can’t meet demand.
  • Kenneth does not want to monopolize funds for OC when it needs to go to other communities. Asks if funds can be delayed to other FYs and Jeff responds that it could cause issues with funding.
  • Jessica says she will work with Greg K will work on creating a budget check-in meeting
