  • Jeff added the budgeted $2M per fiscal year after FY26/27 is based on what has been spent historically, but it is an estimate.
  • Kenneth discussed how upcoming projects may exceed that $2M budgeted for future years.
  • Jessica re-iterated Jeff’s point that the goal is to still approve all projects.

  • Jessica: How is lateral rehab going? Are most open to it or still resistant? Kenneth: open is an understatement, strong community penetration. No real meaningful problems.
  • Jessica: Will send budget forecast back to Kenneth to update.
  • OC doesn’t want to monopolize funds, if some projects need to take a step back to allocate money to other community members, they can.

  • Erich: Does WL need to send I/I Reduction funding report? Jessica: No, since WL hasn’t used any WES money. DEQ report: WES does need input annually.
  • Erich: Recently updated CCTV van, crews are using it more. Still trying to get project going.

  • Kenneth: OC did something similar, willing to help WL if needed.

  • Jeff: If any community members need flow meters or other WES equipment, please reach out to share resources and equipment rather than renting them. Collaboration/resource sharing is not tied to just the basins projects.
