Check Your Voter Registration before Oct. 14, 2025 Deadline
Clackamas County Elections Oregon City office will be open until 7 p.m. to assist voters.
Oregon City, OR – County Clerk Catherine McMullen reminds voters that Tuesday, Oct. 14 is the Voter Registration Deadline for the November 4, 2025 Special Election.
To be eligible to register to vote in Oregon, you must:
- be a resident of Oregon;
- a citizen of the United States, and
- be at least 16 years of age. Eligible voters will get their first ballot after their 18th birthday.
Oregon voters with a valid Oregon driver's license or ID card can register online at OregonVotes.gov. If you do not have a valid or current Oregon license or ID card, you will need to fill out a paper Oregon Voter Registration Card.
Paper registration cards are available at the U.S. Post Office, public libraries, and the Clackamas County Elections Oregon City office.
If you are already registered to vote we ask that you check that your address and name are up to date in your voter registration record. Voters can update their information online at OregonVotes.gov or with a paper Oregon Voter Registration Card.
The Clackamas County Elections office will be open late on Tuesday, Oct. 14 to assist voters with any voter registration or elections questions. The office is located at 1710 Red Soils Ct. in Oregon City and will be open Oct. 14, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Regular hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This is not a county-wide election. Where you live determines what is on your ballot. If you are a registered voter in the cities of Gladstone, Happy Valley, or Portland; the Sandy Fire District; or the Lake Oswego, Oregon Trail or West Linn – Wilsonville school districts you should expect a ballot in the mail. Clackamas County Elections will begin mailing ballots to voters Oct. 15. If you have not received your ballot by Oct. 22 please contact Clackamas County Elections.
Clackamas County Elections will conduct a public Logic and Accuracy Test on Friday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. A logic and accuracy test is a test of the tally system to ensure that each ballot format correctly tallies ballots in each contest. Election processes like this are available for observation by the public and observers are welcome.
