Measure Arguments Due Sep. 8
Oregon City, OR – Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 5:00 p.m. is the deadline for county, city, and special district candidates to a submit an optional candidate statement for inclusion in the county voters’ pamphlet. Measure arguments are not due until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sep. 8. Candidate statements and measure arguments will be included in the county voters’ pamphlet statement that is mailed to every household in the county at the beginning of October.
The filing deadline for candidates (other than elected incumbents) to file for office with the required filing fee or verified nominating petition signatures is also Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 5:00 p.m. The filing officer for city candidates is the city recorder, the filing officer for the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District is the Oregon Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Division, and the filing officer for County Sheriff is the County Clerk.
