Special District candidates and potential candidates are invited to attend the Clackamas County Special District Election Candidate Open House. The open house will be held on Thursday April 3 at 2:00 pm, inside Clackamas County Clerk and Elections located at 1710 Red Soils Ct. Suite 100 in Oregon City.

Clackamas County Elections begins to mail ballots to voters for the November 7, 2023 Special Election.

This is not a county-wide election. More than 150,000 voters should expect a ballot in the mail if they live in the following cities and jurisdictions.

Check Your Voter Registration before Oct. 14, 2025 Deadline

Clackamas County Elections Oregon City office will be open until 7 p.m. to assist voters.

Oregon City, OR – County Clerk Catherine McMullen reminds voters that Tuesday, Oct. 14 is the Voter Registration Deadline for the November 4, 2025 Special Election.

ZDO-275 proposes legislative text amendments to Section 703 of the Clackamas County Zoning and Development Ordinance (ZDO) to adopt new floodplain maps for the Sandy River Basin, produced by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and to amend the standards that apply to new development in the 1-percent annual chance floodplain (i.e., the 100-year floodplain) countywide.

We believe that conflict resolution is one of the ingredients to a healthy community and it is important to us to share these teachings. We also recognize that cost and time commitment are often barriers to potential participants.  

Clackamas County Resolution Services is offering a limited number of full scholarship seats for this 5-day, 40-hour Basic Mediation course.  

The Clackamas County Board of Commissioners voted to approve a historic investment to own its first transitional housing property. 

“Our residents recently prioritized homelessness as the number one issue they care about,” said Clackamas County Board Chair Tootie Smith. “We know that purchasing this property is the right thing to do to help residents living outside stabilize their lives and get into permanent housing.”

Clackamas County Elections opens a pop-up vote center inside the Happy Valley Library starting May 5 for voters needing assistance. The Happy Valley Vote Center provides a closer choice for voters in Happy Valley, Sandy, Damascus and other north-east communities. Voters can choose the location that works best for them.
