WES Industrial User and Septage Fees
Clackamas Water Environment Services (WES) is implementing changes to its extra-strength surcharge fees for industrial customers that discharge wastewater with higher concentrations of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) than typical wastewater. These changes are based on a recently completed cost-of-service study and will be implemented over three years, beginning July 1, 2025. Monthly Surface Water Service Charges
(rates effective 7/1/2025)
Surface Water Management provides water quality protection for the community by implementing programs to reduce pollution in our rivers, streams and wetlands caused by urban stormwater runoff.
SWM fees fund:
- water quality monitoring
- investigation of water quality, erosion, and drainage issues;
- water quality and drainage improvement projects;
- customer service response
- public education and awareness
The SWM charge reflects the amount of impervious surface on each site, which is a measure of increased runoff into the storm drainage system.
